MY BACKGROUND

Ever since I was a little kid I've always had access to a guitar. My first experience with a guitar was just strumming the guitar strings.

Later on as I got older I started to play the guitar by ear. I would make connections with specific sounds and be able to figure out a song. My mother started to notice and she decided to introduce me to tabs and that's how it started. I began teaching myself songs.

When I hit my teens I was given the opportunity to take guitar lessons from Bravo. Bravo introduced me to notes and chords, I loved it!! I had guitar lessons from Bravo for a couple years.

When I finally hit high school they had guitar classes so, I went ahead and took them all. I had guitar classes the whole time I was in high school for 3 years and did very well! A few times my guitar teacher had to leave a few days and he had me sub for the class while he was gone. We still had a "sub" but they had no idea about guitar. He also allowed me to help my classmates with learning the songs, grading and tuning.

After I received my associate of science at Salt Lake Community College, I was unsure of what to do. So, I began looking at my talents and decided to keep playing and teach guitar to others. I like to make my lessons fun and enjoyable! I enjoy watching the progress students make and the skills students gain from each lesson.

I am also currently writing my own music.
